Installing Kali Linux in Virtual box
That tutorial will walk you through the difficult process associated with installing Kali Linux within Virtual Box, a free personal machine manager which can be downloaded from internet by searching VirtualBox , This tutorial assumes that you've some basic familiarity with your computer (amount of RAM volume of processors, etc. ) This tutorial can also be intended for newbies who haven’t caused Virtual Box or Kali Linux previous to.
Installing In Virtual Box:
Step 1: Download the Kali Linux ISO from "kali.org" with your Compatibility 64-Bit or 32-Bit , and Download and install Virtual Box from official website.
Step 2-a: Run VBox and click on upper left Icon "New" to create a new Virtual Machine.
Step 2-b: Enter a name for your VirtualBox Virtual Machine "Kali Linux" and you will se automatically Type of Linux is appeared and click next.
Step 2-c: Default Memory Size is 256MB , you need to change it to 1GB which is 1024MB and click next.
Step 3: In the next step , choose "Create a virtual Hard Drive now" and Click Create.
Step 3-a: Select Virtual Drive File type as "Virtual Box Disk Image" which is Default
Step 3-b: Select Physically Hard Drive Allocation Type "Dynamic Allocated" and in next step allocate the disk size minimum 30GB
Step 4: Now Virtual Machine is created and right click on it and click settings, in settings , Under System Tab set Processors "2" and choose "Enable PAE/NX
Step 4-a: Select Storage > Controller: IDE and highlight Empty CD ICON. Now on your right, you should be able to use the little CD ICON (it should be CD/DVD Drive: IDE Secondary Master already, if not change it) and select your downloaded ISO.
Step 5: Select a Network Adapter to "bridge Connection"
Step 6: Enable USB controllers.
Step 7: Start Virtual Machine and choose "Graphical Install"
Step 8: Choose your Language and click continue , Choose your Location and click continue , wait till Kali Detects Hardware , after that set Hostname "Kali" (Default) , in next step Setup your New password , setup your time .
Step 9: Wait till kali detects HardDrive , and Continue with "Guided Use Entire Disk" and Confirm choose all files in one partition and your Kali Linux will be start Installing in Virtual Box.
Step 10: After successfuly install kali ask for you to Use Network Mirror and just Choose "NO" and Continue to next step, it will ask you for Install GRUB Boot Loader , Choose Yes and Install. Wait till finished the Process.
